Durable Medical Equipment
When it comes to your treatment plan our goal is to get you out of pain as soon as possible, and sometimes that means you should be wearing a brace or have shoe inserts in conjunction with your care. Our braces are medical grade, fitted to our patients, and come with a warranty.
Durable Medical Equipment or “DME”, are provided at our office for patients whose condition would benefit from additional support in the form of a brace or orthotic. There are numerous types of DME however our office only issues those that are used for a musculoskeletal condition. Examples of braces we recommend for patients include back braces, knee braces, and foot orthotics.
Most patients with insurance are able to use their insurance benefits to cover all or some of the costs of the equipment. Our office has gone through the thorough and rigorous process to hold the Medicare designation of an Exemplary Provider for DMEPOS, accredited by the Compliance Team. This allows us to also distribute durable medical equipment to our Medicare patients.
